Come July, Lynn Alexander will be off to England with her husband for the once-a-decade
Lambeth Conference of bishops from throughout the Anglican Communion.
High on a full agenda for bishops’ spouses is tea with Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, and hats are required for female guests. Lynn says, “I’ve seen so many beautiful hats around the diocese, I thought instead of buying a new one, why not borrow one?”
So, look in your closet or attic for one you think suitable. Send us a photo; we’ll post it on the website to allow people of the Diocese to Atlanta to vote on the best hat for Lynn to wear to the Queen’s Tea Party. The contest will last throughout the Easter season, which ends on Pentecost Sunday, May 11. Hats off to all who participate!
